Symptoms returning post-op

Hi everyone, I’m new here so haven’t posted before but could use some advice please!

I had my first laparoscopy 6 months ago to excise my stage 3 endo. They also found adenomyosis and a lot of adhesions. I went to one of the most recommended surgeons, and felt great for a couple months after. Since then I’ve been getting pelvic, leg and lower back pain. Nowhere near as bad as pre-surgery but it is getting more frequent.

How common is it for endo to come back this quickly? I’m struggling to figure out whether there’s a certain amount of this pain I’m going to have to deal with forever, or whether to continue pursuing a solution with my doctor. Any advice is welcome!

I'm in the same position as you and get ovulation pain that radiates and lasts over a week. Hope you manage to get sorted and better 🙏

It's been 18 months since I had a laparoscopy. I had my left ovary & tube removed due to a large endometrioma and was told all my endo was concentrated on my left hand side and that they removed the adhesions when they took my ovary out (was stuck to my bladder and bowel).

In the last 3 months my pain and bloating has pretty much returned to pre op levels. An ultrasound shows that I've now got a small endometrioma and a 6cm cyst on my right ovary (was previously clear that side) and my ovary is stuck to my uterus. I don't know if I'm a typical case but I was really hoping that my op would keep me pain free for longer.
