bladder pain

hello, I’m currently under gynaecology awaiting a Laparoscopy suspected endo. But the past 6 months a few days before my period I have this horrendous sharp shooting pain in my bladder into my vagina and I called an ambulance the first time due to the severity. Was wondering if anyone else gets this?

I don’t get bladder pain but I do get a really searing pain from my rectum to my uterus. I hope you get some answers soon.

I don't get shooting pains but my bladder gets really sore and I’ve been convinced I’ve had a UTI and then confused when GP said I didn’t. I’ve just been diagnosed with Stage 4 Endo which is on my bladder as well as other areas.

Hi, I used to get sharp, knife like pain in my uterus, rectum & vagina. These have somewhat calmed since my lap in March 2023. I get the odd twinge but nothing as bad as before.

I also had the Mirena IUD fitted in Feb 2022 which helped immensely with the cyclical pain, bleeding etc.

I’m stage 4 endo. I recently discovered that I have an overactive bladder so have recently started taking oxybutynin for it.

I also don’t get pain in my bladder but more UTI symptoms. I’m stage 2 and under laparoscopy they found it on my bladder so maybe it’s possible you have that too? Endo does weird stuff to my urinary system because of it. Hope you find out soon!
