Hi all, I am new here after being diagnosed with endometriosis in 2010 and being on the mini pill Cerezette since 2014, I am now having another amazing time of it with the perimenopause. I've been on a trial of Evorel 25 for just over a month and have had them increased to 50 now and told to come off cerezette and onto Utrogestan. I am a bit scared to change over, anyone else using Utrogestan? Anyone come off cerezette for Utrogestan? Any input would be great, I'm scared after all this time of starting the terrible agony of bleeding back up but at the same my all these peri symptoms have me on my arse

Do you have to swap for any particular reason if one is working?

I’ve not tried those so can’t comment on that, sorry. Although if cerazette isn’t the other might, most of this is trial and error unfortunately. I always think if we had a test first then levels could be prescribed with a bit more scientific basis.

Thank you, they said that I don't really need the contraception now that cerezette gives

Hello I'm on Utrogestan and I tolerate it so much better than i did the progesterone from the pill. I can't comment on bleeding though I'm afraid because I don't have a uterus anymore. You could try it and then change back if it doesn't suit? You could just say your circumstances had changed and you need a contraceptive again as you can get pregnant in peri.

Thank you for your reply, I shall give it a go then, just wanted a bit of feedback from someone who had been on the pill too
