This is my second post-surgery post (spot the anxiety!). I had laparoscopy with extensive excision of endometriosis and adenomyosis found 3.5 weeks ago. I’m pretty sure I’m ovulating for the first time since (according to my app, the timing and my sore boobs!). I’ve found that this has made everything more tender again and I’ve had weird aches and pains in my abdomen. I expected my period not to be a great one post surgery, but I wondered if anyone had any similar experiences with their post surgery ovulation?
I was starting to bounce back and pain was getting less frequent but feels like I’ve gone backwards since ovulation has been on the horizon.
Any reassurance and sharing of experiences are greatly appreciated 😊 thanks
Xx p.s. I said this in my last post but I really think we should be given a more realistic idea of post surgery recovery!

Don’t worry the same happens to me. For 3 consecutive month I was in absolute agony. The pain was worse and very different to the usual pain I experienced. Its due to the organs still being tender/inflamed from post surgery. I’m 4 months in now and back to normal 😊
Oh thank you so much for reassuring me! I thought I was on the mend and then I’ve been more sore again and I was getting so frustrated. Glad to hear you’re back to normal now. Xxx
