Hi everyone I’m new to this site but wondered if anyone had any advice for me. I have been diagnosed with severe endometriosis which has extended to bowel bladder and lung. I had my first pneumothorax in 2018 and 2021 had an operation which has hopefully kept my lung up. Up until March this year, I’ve been taking Zoladex for two years. I experienced the usual unpleasant symptoms but it worked - no periods. I’m lucky in many ways as I’m now 53 and was hopeful that I’m now in natural menopause, but yesterday I had a period and I’m scared that oestrogen has returned to my body and put my lung at risk again. I’m grateful to anyone for their advice and wish you all love and kindness on your journeys.
