3 weeks post surgery - zoladex + tibolone!

Hi all, I am now three weeks post lap #2, where they removed stage 4 endo from my ovaries, uterus, bladder and bowel. It has been a much rougher recovery this time round.

The surgeon wanted me to get the zoladex implant before I’d even left hospital the next day but I burst into tears when they told me so they let me off (had previously told them time and again I didn’t want to because my mental health had been so bad). However, after a very heavy 7 day period and a lot of thinking and talking to my GP, today I got the implant and started taking tibolone, because I’ve at least felt more mentally stable in the last three weeks, if physically exhausted.

Does anyone have any advice for dealing with the side effects? Obviously they haven’t kicked in yet, but I am worried about fatigue, brain fog, weight gain etc as I’m studying full time again from October. Anything at all from those who’ve been on it! I am already gluten free but I’ve been thinking about giving up dairy/reducing sugar too as they do seem to be triggers for endo pain… woe is me lol
