Bowel bleeding?

Hi All, I just wanted to check, for those that have had endo found on your bowel, do you still bleed from your bowel even after surgery/excision? (I feel like this is a silly question as I type it as I know it can come back, but just wanted some shared experience) Also does anyone experience no vaginal bleeding (with the coil fitted for example) but still bowel bleeding each month? Thanks for any insight you can provide (I've had endo removed from ligaments and... Somewhere else... around pouch of Douglas I think but still have unexplained bowel bleeding and have just been passed between gynae and gastro for 15 years, each saying its the other one)

Sorry I just seen this post when looking for something similar but this is exactly what I have. I have no period due to coil but bowel bleeding and extreme pain and bloating at the start of every month. I hadan MRI in June and my womb and bowel are attached again. I feel your pain. Do yiu have bad lower back pain too?

Thanks so much for your message, yes I have stabbing pain on my back on the left side where my kidney is and then lower down on the leff side on the front too and then sometimes a radiating ache across the back and abdomen, lots of bloating, I usually only bleed from my bowel 1 week each month, but it's been every time I've gone to the toilet since August now, I'm coming up to two years with this coil in and my last one I found the effectiveness wore off at about 2 years and so hoping getting that changed will help, but no definitive reasons to explain the bowel bleeding from gastro or gynae, every time they just say its nothing to do with them and the other team's responsibility, crazy when there's such a visible symptom, I've been trying to get an MRI for years but no luck, sorry to hear yours is attached again, will they offer you surgery for it?

That is the same with me up the left hand side too... we must have very similar growth The bloating is the worst and water weight I think as well as I have put on around 4kg since getting the Coil.

That's terrible, do you have a dedicated consultant?

I've had 3 surgeries so far and had the bowel detached in my last one but they said if I get a 4th there's a good chance I will need a bladder stent or a stoma bag, so I am kind of putting it off :(. Have you had any surgeries yet?
