Hiya. It took at least 3 to start working and it did help with the pain. I had to come off it in the end due to the side effects, which were not great. I went cold turkey with only pain killers and periods etc returned within 6 weeks.
I had my full hysterectomy 3 weeks ago. So I'm recovering atm.
Painkillers!? Not that they are much better. What are you taking?
Is it an Endo expert doing your surgery? With colorectal? It’s important they remove every scrap of Endo, also I’d recommend asking them to remove all adhesions whether Endo or not.
Ask about cancellations and getting pre op done in case of cancellations. Personally I don’t believe waiting lists actually exist, obviously a list does but not in any particular order. If we are willing to wait they are too. I was told I could ring weekly to check, although that was a different op. My hysterectomy was in 2020 when covid was about.
