hello all. Just got a call from my doctor from my pelvic scan, ovarian cysts and ovarian endometriosis found. I have just signed my consent to be pushed through for a laparoscopy. I’m so nervous, any tips on how to prepare and deal with the aftermath? Also how long did you need to take off of work?

I personally have had various different healing times post surgery. 2 weeks off work was never enough time for me and I have ended up in A&E more than once. I also make sure I am well stocked for easy meals and have as much fizzy pop as possible. I also do any jobs in the house that I know will be a stuggle post surgery.
I also tend to get a few magazines and multi pack of crisps!
