Spinal Block

Hi all.

Has any body had an after effects after a spinal block? Had one 6 weeks ago during my Laparoscopy and my back aches where I had the injection. I can't lie flat on my back for very long as it starts hurting and aching.

Hi l had the spinal block injection before lap and no l awoke pain free, so would contact your GP or if you have a contact number for the nurse who sat in on your pre op checks then give her/him a ring and talk over your concerns.

Thanks AlexaMac. I have emailed my consultant and have an appointment booked in for next month. It's been almost 7 weeks now and it still feels very bruised and achey. It's manageable just very very uncomfortable 😣 xxx
