Zoladex question

Hi all,

I had my first Zoladex injection on Tuesday and was due a period on Wednesday. I was expecting to still have this period, but so far pain but no bleeding? Has anyone else experienced this?

I am going on holiday in 2 weeks so if I am due one last period I am praying it will happen soon 😭

Hi,

I was on Zoladex for ages and was told it would stop my periods (which it didn't). That being said, the pain and bleeding was much reduced, it was more like a mini-period rather than a full-blown one. The fact is messing with your hormones as a treatment for a condition that's not fully understood is not an exact science - everyone's different. Hopefully, this is as bad as it'll get for you and it'll be over before you're off on your hols. I realise this isn't overly helpful but it's all I got x

Thanks lovely, I finally started bleeding this morning so hopefully will be all good for my holiday 🙏🏼
