I have suffered from dry eyes since the beginning of the covid pandemic, I thought it would get better after the mask wearing stopped but it hasn’t. I also have rosacea, I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s all linked.
I've had dry eyes with occasional soreness since having covid 19 in 2020, I've been assuming its something to do with that but also have had endometriosis, treated in 2010, plus menopause issues. I've been advised to clean around my eyelids with dilute baby shampoo on a cotton bud, which did help; also I've found that just using a moisturising soap when washing my face and eyelids, twice a day, helps too. I've also used Golden Eye cream/gel for eye infection initially and occasionally use optrex drops to hydrate my eyes. Hope this is of some use, and that your eyes soon feel better. x
Hi! Blephaclean wipes are good. Even if you don't have blepharitis they clean and soothe eyelids and I find they help with dry eyes. A bit expensive but very effective.
Thanks all. I have visited the Opticians & Doctors so many times & have used several branded eyedrops & an eye heat pad to no avail. I too suffer with frequent flushing/rosaeca of the face, neck & chest areas - my students often comment 'Miss you are turning red/purple again', not helpful.
I have had lots of blood tests & I am not perimenopausal 😣
