bilocular avascular cyst

Sorry if this post if in the wrong group, wasn't sure where to post.

Hi all. So I've been having major issues with my periods for over a year and very bad lower abdomen pain and pelvic pain even when off my period.

I had a scan done last August and it showed no cysts or major issues but had another scan done 7 weeks ago and now have a bilocular avascular cyst on my right ovarie which is just under 4cm in all directions. My doctors surgery isn't the best and is currently being run by locums as both doctors were sacked. I've been referred to the gynecologist but that isn't until June due to waiting lists.

I'm worried about the size of the cyst and that I have googled it ( I know I shouldnt) but from what I can see it's the more dangerous of ovarie cysts and its causing alot of pain.

Has anyone had this type of bilocular avascular cyst before?? Would I need a operation to remove it and is it dangerous?

Hey! I just wanted to post to say I know your pain! I had a pain so they scanned me and found a 4cm cyst in November they did all the tests advised watch and wait then MRI now it's 8cm so awaiting a surgery date. No one seems to think it's very urgent but the pain and tiredness is draining.
