I have had my first injection of my Zoladex and started my tibolone tablets which I take one a day. Currently been on these for about 3 weeks, my side effects have just recently started kicking in. I’m constantly feeling sick, drained, deflated, hot sweats, loss of my appetite and concentration. I know these are the side effects but it’s really bad and struggling to cope. Has anyone experienced these side effects and what did you do?
Thankyou

you are not alone I feel exactly the same. Unfortunately I don’t have any advice. I’m still looking for things to help with my symptoms.
I have been on prostap which is similar to Zoladex for nine months because I can’t take HRT, but apparently it helps to alleviate the symptoms of the injections.
hello, I’m so sorry this is rough for you! How horrid 🫂 💗🎢
I have been in a similar position but everything is milder for me and been on them for 2.5 years.
Obviously there’s persevering but I suggest you ring the Gynecologist’s secretary to see if you can get advice. They might give you an appointment. If that doesn’t work, then you can complain to Patient Liason and Information Service (PILS) for your NHS Trust. They are pretty good and you could get an appointment that way.
Sorry it’s another fight EndoWarrior but you have Sisters here for support. You’ve got this x
Yes, I stopped taking it as I couldn't get an appointment to see the doctor so I just crushed up the tablets and took a little less each day until I was completely off it. I felt much better for that. My situation was a little different as I was post-hysterectomy and off Zoladex by that point.
Hi, I've been Tibolone for about 6 weeks now, once a day and 3 weeks ago I started getting bad stomach pains wind and I'm constantly at the loo. It's driving me insane but it does help me with the side effects of prostap.
