Blood in poo

I have endo pouch of Douglas and on uterosacral ligament on left side and also hemmoids. I am experiencing frequent blood in my poo which happens a couple of times in the month which has been happening since last Feb. My gp is aware and I have been referred to the surgical team. Anyone else experience this with endo?

hi there, Iv only just found out I have Endo, but I have had bleeding in my poo over the last few years. I got referred for a colonoscopy (camera up the bum) and this found a polyp (lump in the bowel). So from my experience I’d take it seriously and get referred to have it checked. But I’m new to endo and learning about Endo symptoms so others may have experience of that side of things x

Thank you for the reply. Oh I see. I got an appointment next week to see general surgery regarding hemmoids so I will ask to get a colonscopy just to be sure there is nothing else going on. Did you have bleeding all the time or every now and then? X

The first time, I noticed it every now and then over a few months. After that I got better at going to the doctors when I noticed it.

Pretty much the same as me but it happens to me every month for two days
