I can't sit anymore
Have you tried your GP or called 111 they are usually helpful? If its really bad then a&e is an option, could someone take you to your local a&e or if not could you call ambulance? I've passed out in pain before from endo and ended up in a&e after ambulance called.
I’m so sorry you’re going through this. Do you think it’s Endo-related? I had pain like this with mine at one point, but I already had ablation surgery booked in. My GP prescribed me Naproxen to manage the pain in the meantime. I agree with BlueGiraffe9 though - If your pain is anything like mine was, you need to get to A&E or an Urgent Care Unit. 111 will be able to advise . Let us know how you get on x
Hi, sorry you’re experiencing this, I had it for a couple of days really bad, managed it with co codamol, naproxen, Amitriptyline also a heat pad is great.
yes sometimes I am like that too and I end up going to bed. My seat bones are on fire and throbbing with pain. My left leg is now starting getting pins and needles all the way to my calf ( which sometimes feels like it will burst it’s throbbing so much. I’ve had a virtual physio appointment with Ascenti and they’ve recommended an MRI scan so I’m hoping it won’t be too long a wait. I’m now in the system for a Gynaecologist appointment but my GP said it’s 50 weeks waiting time…..taking naproxen and cocodamol to dull the pain as it never goes away- I’m in pain going to bed and wake up in pain . Tried hydrcodeine but felt ill , sick and sleepless taking it. Just got a tens machine which is helping…..
I don't know if you've ever tried one of those do-nut shaped cushions? Sometimes it can help take the pressure off a bit if you have to sit a long time.
Kamna1 , hoping your pain has eased, it's not easy and it's not fair. Fact. Not being able to achieve any kind of comfort is sometimes indescribable but we have clearly understood you. BlueGiraffe9 and GraceFace I am with yous, 111 is a fantastic service, they are very proffesional and efficient. I also use pain killers, heat pads, so I hear you CeCeT , I use Amitriptyline as part of my pain management programe to stop muscle memory. Hawk136 that all sounds quite daunting and quite a long tinme to wait. I am so glad the Tens machine is helping, but I am sorry to learn of your situation. It will ease up. At some point. Stay strong, it won't always be like this. EmB18 , I am a fellow cushion fan!
