Hi everyone I have suspected Endo but no Lap to confirm and just had the letter from the gynaecologist to my docter stating he is going to refer me for tumour marker to rule out ovarian pathology ? It stated ct showed abnormalities but internal scan did not, but I have enlarged right ovary and multiple fibroids on uterus. Has anyone had anything similar? obviously trying not to worry just know I will have to wait again 😔 tia for reading x

I have not had anything similar but I do know that it is quite common to check for ovarian cancer markers when starting to investigate for endometriosis, I guess there is an overlap in signs and symptoms. I am guessing this is a blood test you are to have?

Probably a bit late to suggest it due to the Christmas break starting but it would be worth you asking to see your GP when you can and asking him/her to explain the letter to you and answer any questions, if you do not have a Gynae appointment soon.
