bleeding after first prostap injection

I had my first prostap injection on Monday and started my tibolone along with it, I’ve been so exhausted all week, no energy, very emotional, I had some light bleeding but on Saturday (yesterday) I’ve started bleeding more and now it’s like I’m taking my period, has anyone else experienced this? I have period cramps and pelvic pain as well

Hi, I started the prostap and bled but I thought it was due to having the coil removed. It took a good few days to settle and stop. I had to wait 2 weeks for for Tibolone (only 3 days in)so have suffered with muscle weakness and joint pain. I have read it can take up to 2/3 weeks for everything to really settle and your body to get used to it which I guess includes the bleeding.Maybe see if you can get a phone conversation with your GP nurse who specialises in HRT? Sorry can't be more help x

I am now 2 weeks in on my second injection - the first month was absolute hell - really heavy bleeding - pain worse than normal and worse migraine of my life that lasted 7 days!! So far so good this month - I spoke to my consultant who said the first month there can be bleeding and other side effects.
