I have been through 2 gynaecologists and both weren’t great but the one I just had was awful… horrid bedside manner. Anyone else had an experience like this? Made me cry for hours

I’ve dealt with several unpleasant doctors not listening, discarding my thoughts, feelings and symptoms for years I wish I’d complained back in 2019 try to speak to someone as no one should feel that way especially by someone there to help!

I’m so sorry to hear this, I hope you’re ok. It’s tough enough when you’re going through things like this let alone having to deal with consultants like that!

I had a similar experience last year, please feel free to PM if you want to chat x

Thanks for your help, my experience was at an accredited centre which appears on that website and runs a clinic in Southampton x

oh that’s a shame I didn’t realise Southampton had one I tired looking when I needed them and ended up with the Poole team but I’m happy with my experience there if that helps xx

Southampton does NOT have a specialist endometriosis centre with approved endo surgeons so this could be why you are not treated correctly the nearest endo centre is Poole. I have had surgery under the main endo some filer and the co rectal surgeon both are very good from my experience. This is a specialist endo centre and has its own endo nurse and pain management specialist they work as a team with multi disciplinary approach so the care is specific to those with endo. You can search approved endo centres and the closest one I found was Poole hope this helps xx

Thank you very much. He is an endometriosis and laparoscopic surgery specialist. He runs a private clinic but works for nhs too xx
