Has anyone else here been on holiday while waiting for treatment for endometriosis? I had a laparoscopy in May and booked the holiday in early June only to discover the lap was purely investigative and I received no treatment. I am now still waiting to be seen ‘urgently’ by another consultant.
We go on holiday very soon so have been trying to find travel insurance and have just been quoted extremely high for declaring that I’m awaiting treatment. Chances are I will not need medical attention as I have never presented to A&E in pain, I have sat this out at home but I don’t want to take the risk.
Does anyone have any experience with this that they can share please?

Hi Wilsoc. I had exactly the same when trying to get travel insurance and comparison websites wouldn’t actually provide a quote. I ended up going with Coverforyou, I have used them in the past (before my endo investigation) and they was reasonably priced. Even at investigation stage I would still declare on insurance and pay more rather than if to undeclared just incase you do run into any issues, insurance companies will use anything not to complete a payout. Hope this helps. X
Amazing I will try them thank you! I definitely want to declare just incase something happens especially considering I am sue on the day we fly which I’m devastated about.
