I had covid in Jan/Feb last year and didn't notice any difference in my endo because of it. It's possible that you may feel worse whilst having covid and endo at the same time, but I haven't heard or read anything that talks about long term issues. I have read some anecdotal papers on the vaccine and periods, but again it is anecdotal.
Are you using any heat relief for your back? I have a plug in heated pad that I can just lay down on, it's amazing for relief from back pain.
TENS machine is also really helpful as a distraction from pain.
Don't know what stuff you already use so don't want to bombard you lol xxx
I think lots of us look for patterns that can help explain all of our symptoms, but sometimes things just change. It could be that your endo has grown in a different place and is pressing on something new, do you have a good gynae? Or at least a good GP to speak to? Also, are you tracking your cycle to see if you're ovulating? I get the worst of the left sided pain when I ovulate, then lower back pain is a daily issue but it used to be around 5-7 days before my period started. Raises in oestrogen can cause symptoms to flare and worsen, so it could be that but i totally get looking for a cause, I think because we all have this condition and no one can tell us why it leaves us feeling like we need an answer. So we end up searching for one, anything that could explain it neatly and easily so we can gain some control. It's easy to have confirmation bias too, where you look for evidence that supports what you already think, but you end up ignoring evidence that doesn't agree with that. Xxx
