Hi Everyone,

Hope you’re all keeping well 💛.

I’m just posting for a slight moan to people that understand - I’ve just been advised my excision surgery might be next July time. Soul destroying isn’t? Especially when it’s hard to even go to the toilet daily! 😭. I’m so tempted to price private, but I’m Stage 4 with so many organs involved.

Anyway - for you all in the same boat as me, I’m here for you and you’re not alone 💪🏻💛 xx

OMG I am so sorry to hear this. How come is such a long wait? How long ago have you been diagnosed?

Officially diagnosed with Stage 4 in December (bowels attached to uterus, bladder, kidneys and ureters affected) but after 15 long years of agony and dismissals from doctors.

So I’ve been told that there are 22 people in the list above me and they only do 2 surgeries a month 😭.

Oh gosh it is soul destorying I just dont know how it can be like thisI havent even had my diagnostic lap yet but symtoms are all pointing towards bowel endo so god knows how long Ill wait after lap ifni did need anything more x

Its so shocking x

I hope a cancellation or something comes up sooner

Morning!I was in the same boat and finally had my surgery in June. The waiting is awful, it's mentally draining and challenging.

I would keep in touch with them, cancellations happen etc and keep reminding them you are there!

It was my consultant who referred me to the BSGE centre who told me to keep ringing them so you don't get forgotten. Those who are loudest get seen first I think.
