I've been on Zoladex jabs now to stop my cycle for over a year while I wait for surgery, my pain is steadily increasing despite me not having a period. I always get pain the week I would normally be having my period and have the entire time I've been on the jabs but now it's getting unbearable again. Has anyone else had an experience like this? My Gyne is now even saying that if it was endo the Zoladex should stop all the pain but I'm not sure if that's true? I'm scared that because this isn't working they won't be able to do anything to help me and I'm going to carry on getting worse 😭 I've been waiting over a year already for a hysterectomy and no one can even give me a clue when it might actually happen, they don't seem concerned I might wait years. The pain and effects on my body is getting genuinely debilitating, I can't go about my normal life anymore, I take tiblone, diclofenac, paracetamol, tramadol, buscopan and duloxetine and I still have pain so bad I can't get out of bed.

Pain increasing despite Zoladex jabs
I am on Zolodex, tibilone and diclofenac for Endo and waiting for a lap with excision (15 months wait so far and so bad I can’t work and been homeless!!) and possibly a hysterectomy. I was bleeding heavily on Zolodex and they recently did a hysteroscopy and put a Mirena coil in for me. Waiting on biopsy results 😬worried.
I called the Secretary of the Consultant several times and it worked in getting them moving with the hysteroscopy and the Mirena insertion.
So…..there is help, there is an end and the waiting can be soul destroying if I am honest.
I don’t have a magic suggestion or wand to take the pain away, I’m sorry. I don’t even think I have anything helpful to say. Maybe ask your GP to expedite your case to urgent and see if there is anything pain management wise the Gp can do.
I recommend the curable app for pain management but be prepared for hard work on yourself. It hurts so good.
All the very best lovely ✌🏼💕 💛
