urgent waiting list

I’m on the urgent waiting list for surgery for endometriosis surgery at a specialist center.

I has major surgery last year but only a cyst was removed no endo.

Does anyone know how long the waiting could be ?

My specialist didn’t know I’m suffering amd it’s already taken 1 ovary , affecting my bowel , more cysts on the remainder even found out something is on my liver to from a copy of a mri which he never mentioned to me .

It also says on my mri( Not to be filed in the medical report!!!)

is that normal ??

Feel like there are trying to hide stuff from me

At my hospital, I’m on the urgent list now after being upgraded back in early January. That said, I’ve still been waiting 61 weeks for a lap with hysteroscopy and Mirena insertion. Endo is suggested on my MRI so more of a diagnostic lap. But the wait times are crazy long at the moment. My lap is due to be done with a specialist not a general gynae hence the longer wait but still ridiculous

I had hysteroscopy and Mirena insertion in day clinic. No pain meds (I forgot to take mine) and no anathesisa. Now waiting for lap with excision. Been waiting 15 months.

It’s crazy isn’t it. I’ve literally just had a call for my surgery date at long last and it’s end of August so I’ll have been waiting about 16 months by the time it happens
