I’m mainly here for a rant but I’m also after your experiences!
so 5 years ago I was diagnosed with endo. I have had 2 laps in the last 5 years and was told it was stage 2 endo and the tissue was treated etc. when I went for my review appointment I had a gynaecologist who I had never seen before and he said my old doc was no longer working there. He said there’s no sign or evidence of me ever having endo and I need to just learn to deal with the fact I have bad periods! When I’ve spoke to my GP for advice she said there are reports etc going through my lap and findings etc which confirm I do have endo! The gynaecologist discharged me so where do I go from here?! HELP!!

Wow that's a whole new level of unkindness and incompetence. Look up all the gynaes local to you and see if you can find one who specialises in treating endo ask you GP for a referel to that doctor. Go private if you have to. Ask for a copy of your records and send copies of them to the new gynae. Put getting a new gynae first. Making sure you get good treatment should be the first priority.
Then write to the GMC about the other doctor don't phone or anything just write a ltter include copies of th eoperation reports etc to prove that you do have endo, explain that the doctor refused to take your seriously, ignored your proven medical history, sought to demaen and be little you and discharged you without reason seriously affecting your chances of getting medical treatment. You could also try complaining to PALS just send the same letter. Hopefully this doctor will get into some serious hot water.
