I'm waiting for a lap to see if I have endo. When passing urine on period my whole lower stomach I get stabbing pain. Is this a common?

Wow, I could have written this! I am also waiting for a lap, and I too experience sharp pain around the bladder area when passing urine. I thought I was the only one, it is a strange symptom.

I am also currently waiting a lap I have pain constantly sharp stabbing shooting pain most people I talk to that have endo say it’s common x

In the past I have had pain just after passing urine, especially when my bladder was full, which the Gynae reckoned was due to the bladder contracting when empty and having endo adhesions on the bladder which were then pulled on. Certainly endo can affect your bladder and as it’s during your period it seems likely this is the case. Hopefully your lap will give more answers,
