Surgery date but self doubt kicks in

After my last post about my upcoming appointment with the specialist, I didn’t have to do much begging or convincing about help getting my surgery brought forward because they were already shocked I had been waiting 14 months. 2 weeks since that appointment and I have a surgery date for 4th of July! Now my mind is going crazy telling myself not to get hopes up as it will probably be cancelled…between my body and mind I can never win

I’m glad you’ve got a date. I keep chasing as I’m now at 57 weeks on the list but just keep getting told “you’ll get one soon” despite the priority being upped months ago because I’m struggling. 🙃 It’s such a struggle waiting so long.
