Hi I have come off the pill and want to start to try having a baby soon with my partner. In worried that with endometriosis I am or won't even be fertile and I don't know how long it will take to have a normal period after coming off the pill rigevidon. Has anyone had problems conceiving and if so has anyone used a fertility clinic?

If you can’t conceive in 6 months then a GP can refer you and your partner to a fertility clinic (I think). Hormone tests advise 3 months clear of any hormone treatments before they recommend you can test your hormones. But the patient leaflet on your pill should tell you.

Hi chalky! Most women who have endometriosis can conceive normally. But if you're having problems getting pregnant, endometriosis may be the cause. To find out, your doctor may suggest a laparoscopy.

Keep in mind that some standard treatments for endometriosis can either prevent pregnancy or, in the case of the hormone Danocrine, cause serious birth defects. Make sure your doctor knows that you are trying to conceive if you're being treated for endometriosis. A milder and safer solution to endometriosis is herbal medicine. You can try Fuyan Pill, which can relieve pain, improve menstrual conditions and promote fertility.
