Hi all, hope you're doing ok.
After giving up hope of seeing the gynae through the nhs I went to my first private appointment on Friday.
Without looking at my ultrasound (said he hadn't received a copy), he has decided that the Doctors are wrong about me having endo as "it doesn't show up on an ultrasound" and "you have the implant which is one of the treatments so it can't be endo". He just kept saying it's my bowel and to take laxatives.
He didn't ask me many questions about my pain, family history, etc either.
He was happy to book me in for a Lap, which I have but he said "it most probably won't find anything so you won't be any further forward", I did say back that I wouldn't be any further forward if we didn't do it though.
After having the weekend to process, I phoned the hospital yesterday. The scan is on the system he just hadn't seen it, so I called another number and had a little bit of a moan, they have now booked me in for a phone call with him and made note that he has to look at the scan. It obviously showed up something for the scan person and doctor to both say the same thing.
Am I overreacting?
I'm now worried that if he has decided that everyone is wrong, then will the lap be done properly?
