See link above. It varies! You’ll need to be referred to a fertility specialist on the NHS to learn more. Just tell your doctor how long you have tried to conceive unsuccessfully and they’ll start some tests.

Hi , I can only take a pregnancy until 8 was all 5 pregnancies ended at about 8 weeks. I'm now being tested for lupus. Surely this should have been done when I was 26yrs old not 39. Its a bit late.

Yes I did-and I struggled to get pregnant too. We tried for years naturally, then did IVF and had two separate transfers-both of which resulted in a positive pregnancy test but sadly we lost both pregnancies at 7 and 10 weeks. I had other medical issues and the doctors ultimately put me on azathiprione as they thought my immune system could be overreactive. Within 2 months I was naturally pregnant and I’m 31 weeks now. The baby is doing really well & I’m on track for a natural birth. I had stage IV endo and it was all over my organs. I do believe it’s a condition which is related to an immune system disorder which is why the azathioprine helped me but there’s limited scientific research to back this up at the moment… Of course there is a chance it wasn’t the azathioprine but my husband and I (and many of the doctors) believe it was… I hope this helps and that you can find the best doctors to help you on your journey.
