Hi ladies have had cyst ovary and tube removed with endo adhesions , waiting to see the consultant who has offered hysterectomy and or drug treatment , any ladies who can offer any advice it would be great I am 52 and not going through the menopause.. I am an holistic therapist so don't do the drug things , prefer natural therapies , nutrition and vitamins . I will go down the drug route as have had a miserable time for the last two years. , but would appreciate any good feedback on any of the drug related treatments . Thanks

Hi Helen,

Sorry to hear you are not well :-( personally have found the drug treatments fine but haven't had any for some years. Zoladex worked really well for me - wonderful not having periods! Mirena was ok but didn't stop the pain or endo returning. Haven't tried anything else - oh, there was cerazette. That didn't do much but was tolerable to take. Good luck and take care xxx

Hi Carole thanks for your reply ,and the info. , I have decided to follow a wheat free and dairy free diet for a month to see how I get on , as I have read some excellent research , and I have felt better even after a few days ,bowels and pain are noticeably better, so I am hoping this continues, many thanks again for your help. I feel armed with some more info if I decide to try some other treatments . So pleased I found this website. Helen
