So i chased up my appointment for lap......

Im not even in a waiting list for a lap now as my original consultant retired so his list got shared out and now I have another consultant that wants to see me 1st I dont actully believe this at all thought I was 9 months in waiting list and Im not I am so so upset right now!!!!!

I can understand sort of as he wants to do his own checks or whatever but I just dont know I cant think striaght right now!!!! They said its about another 2 mth wait to see him.😭😭😭😭

Sorry to hear that, so frustrating and upsetting. Can only suggest you make the point of how long you have been waiting when you do see him, and of course how symptoms are impacting your life. If it is a 2month wait shouldn’t they be giving you a definite appointment now? If you have not got one, you should chase that up. Perhaps your GP could contact them too, might help? Hope you get some help soon.

Hi thanks for your reply x I conta ted the PALs about it but they wernt very jelpful they said it was understandable a new consultant would want to see you 1st. She sed to contact GP to write a letter so thankfully been on with the GP today who said they will send a letter as going of my symptoms and all the tests Ive had I should be having a lap 🙏🏼 what a nightmare Im sick of this now its a joke how bad womens health and the MHS servcies are now its sad x
