Recovery from Laparoscopy

Has anyone here had surgical removal of large endometriosis cyst AND large fibroid in the same procedure? I've no idea how much care I will need and for how long after the surgery and would be glad to hear other people's experiences.

Yes I had both removed at my first lap and it took about 2 weeks to feel ok. It depends on how things are treated but it is a relatively common procedure. I didn’t drive for a week and didn’t pick up anything too heavy for similar. I do a sitting office job so was ok to go back after 2 weeks.

I have just been told by a general gynaecologist that I can have both multiple fibroids and endometriosis treated in one surgery by multiple surgeons. And am nervous that that would be too much for my body to take. Particularly as I suffer from chronic acute anaemia.

I am hoping that we both find answers before we choose to have surgery to help us heal.

May your Angels ever guide you and guard you.
