endo flare up

I went to hospital on Tuesday as I’m in excruciating pain only to be told I need to learn to cope with it at home. They prescribed me medication which was weaker than I am on now. And sent me home. I honestly at my wits end now and I don’t no what to do anymore

I’m so sorry they treated you so badly, it’s horrible there is absolutely no understanding. Did you see a nurse or a dr? Definitely make a complaint to PALS and the department manager, it can work really well sometimes, it did when I was helping someone the other week.

What medication are you on? Are you on wait list for op?

Yeah I’m on a wait list iv already sent a complaint in just waiting to hear. I just want some help with the pain that’s it

I take paracetamol, Oramorph, Duloxitine, sometimes naproxen or use Diclofenac (very good for pelvic/low abdominal pain) if you want to avoid opiates there is Nefopam and a pain nurse said Tramadol was good.

I still find heat very good.

Let us know how the complaint goes, 🤞, has GP referred to the pain team? A&E could’ve got someone from there to come down.

Apparently if we were men we’d get better help for pain according to the internet and that was a dr on Facebook, it’s ridiculous

I’m hoping something will be done. But if my pain doesn’t improve this afternoon I will be going back to a&e

Hopefully it will settle 🤞

I think if you go back for the same thing they do more, just not sure if that still holds

Let us know how you get on 🙂

I was diagnosed 2022 with laparoscopy had 3 surgeries since. Keeps growing back. They have put my operation as urgent as well

Please tell me that it wasn’t just burnt away but that they did excision surgery? I am now 50 and have had 10ops. My 19 yr old daughter has been diagnosed recently too and from my experience I will only let her have excision surgery otherwise those continued ops create more scar tissue and pain. I really wish you all the best as we too have just put a complaint into an A&E department after my daughter turned up in agony and was basically fobbed off ……. Good luck but be mindful of lots of ops it can make things worse!
