Cysts, fibroids & endometriosis, what happens now?

Hello you beautiful people 😍

May I all your advice please. The past 3 weeks have all been a whirlwind. One minute I'm asking my gp for hrt patches as my hormones were all over the place, Next thing I'm having blood tests ct125 cancer levels came back high , turns out thankfully no cancer 🙏🎉 but they found endometriosis, a large cyst on each ovary and fybroids on my uterus, I'm 49.

I literally received a letter saying tv ultrasound and mri scan showed the above and if the patient feels pain gets worse, refer to gyno for benign cysts.

I feel like I've been left to just .. crack on, but what happens with the cysts do they just keep getting bigger? My fibroids drive me crazy since having the TV ultrasound it's like it's Irritated everything inside and now I'm in alot of discomfort. Not only in my lower tummy, but my lower back and shooting pains down the side of my thighs? No idea why that is. Not to mention I need to have a wee every 20mins 🤷‍♀️

The letter from the consultant sounds really blazè as if i have nothing going on . Don't get me wrong, I know I'm very fortunate compared to many other ladies out there , but just feel in limbo.

I feel I want some kind of surgery to remove the large cysts and fibroids and whatever they can help with the endometriosis, but then again I feel am I worrying for no reason.

Would appreciate any advice . Many thanks on advance 🥰 xx

I'm quite new to all this too, but if you're getting symptoms and endometriosis has been seen on your scan, you can ask for referral to a gynae with an interest in endometriosis. If you went through the two week wait pathway for suspected cancer, I think they'll just discharge you if the scan shows everything's benign. It doesn't mean there's nothing worth investigating - just that it's not their department (I think). It's definitely worth speaking to your GP about everything. How big are your cysts?
