I suffer from endometriosis and always find myself with constant pelvic pain which is always worse in the morning and often wakes me from sleep in the middle of the night. Does this happen to anyone else and what do you do to help it?
On another note, The pain and fatigue is always so bad that i can hardly go out. No driving or working for me due to my symptoms and the constant need for strong painkillers. A perfectly good job and car going to waste due to this condition which makes me feel so worthless you wouldn’t believe. I do have a laparoscopic surgery coming up in just under two weeks which should hopefully help my symptoms and get me back to a normal life. I have mixed feelings about the surgery - I’m excited to get treated and get to the bottom of what’s going on but I’m so nervous for the procedure and recovery process. Any advice and reassurance welcome.
Thanks
Emma

Just a thought, I wonder if your pain is bowel or bladder related. I always used to get pain after I had peed for the first time in the morning, which I was told was due to my bladder being full and then shrinking down when empty and pulling on the endo deposits. Also I still have pain related to whether I need to move my bowels as I have endo on the bowel. Hopefully the lap will make things clearer and I hope you have a successful procedure. I guess the recovery process will depend on what you have done in terms of excision etc so it’s hard to predict.
Hi I think you’re right. When i went to my GP, they always suspected i had a bowel problem and UTIs. I have 2 inch+ Endometrial cysts on both ovaries and they must push on my bladder and bowels. Hopefully all will be better when the pressure is relieved.
