My lap was 2 weeks ago yesterday. I feel I’m recovering well. Tired and struggling with being lightheaded but can walk up to an hour now. Generally trying to take it easy.
My tummy is still quite swollen which I’m sure is to be expected but this morning I noticed a new area of bruising above my belly button that wasn’t there before. Would this be usual?
Should have mentioned I had a large left ovarian cyst and ovary removed and small right ovarian cyst removed. No other endo taken away.

My tummy was swollen and sore for a good four weeks before it started to feel ok again and my surgery was just diagnostic because my endometriosis was to deep to remove at the time as it was done by a general gynaecologist. I think it can take quite a while. Xx
Thank you! I had it in my head I’d be better after 2 weeks but am realising that was too optimistic. It was more the new bruising that I found odd. I’ve emailed the consultant to ask him lol x
