Stage 3 diagnosed endometriosis

I’ve just been diagnosed with stage 3 endometriosis age 27 I always knew I had endometriosis with all the pain I’ve had from age 13 but I’m abit lost so I had my laparoscopy 3 days ago he told me I had stage 3 but hasn’t removed anything just said I’ll be sent to see a specialist in a couple of months I just feel like I’ve haven’t been given enough information all I know he said it’s all in my pelvis does that mean my ovaries and Fallopian tubes just feeling abit lots

Hi there, glad you’ve finally got a diagnosis after all this time and hope you heal up quickly.You should have a follow up appointment to be able to discuss all the details and what the next steps are 🙂 It’s a bit of a waiting game but you’re headed in the right direction.

I’ve had my consultstion with a specialist now and in the process of getting an MRI and other tests done to work out the best treatment plan. Hopefully you won’t have to wait too long 🤞🏻

I had endo in my pelvis - it wasn’t just on the reproductive organs but until a specialist does a proper assessment and discusses options, try not to overthink it or worry. As EmaW says, you are headed in the right direction. I hope you get an appointment soon.
