Vaginal spotting after eating certain foods?!

Hey everyone, I’m wondering… for a while now I’ve been experiencing spotting of dark brown blood after eating certain foods. I notice it the most after eating dairy, sugar and wheat and I know there are diets that tell you to cut those out when you have endo but I’m just wondering, has anyone ever had that experience?

Hello there.

Yes! I was the same. I have stopped wheat (gluten) sugar and dairy and the spotting did stop. Which was totally weird.😵 But I'm sure now it's all connected somehow. The wrong diet can wreck havoc on hormones and everything else by the looks of it!

I've also seen reduction in pain and am managing my symptoms better than before. I'm not 100% but that's wishful thinking with endometriosis but I'm not as bad as before ( I was curled up in bed most days in tears and a hot water bottle)

Just thought to let you know that i was in the same boat and hope I've helped somehow. Try eliminating them and see what happens? Everybody is different but it sure worked for me.

All the best

Thank you! I thought I was making links that weren’t there. The doctors don’t seem to be too fussed by it so I’ve been trying to figure it out on my own. Endo is so complex and strange

You're welcome.☺️

Yes this condition is bizarre and weird to say the least. Doctors haven't been much help (one even thought that the pain must be psychological (!!). So I have been left to do my own research and experimenting with different diet to see what works for me. It's been trial and error but slowly getting there!

I hope you find some relief. Sorry for what you're going through. Endometriosis is the gift that keeps on giving😅
