Hi everyone,

I just wondered if anyone has had zoladex for more than 6 months.

I am due my 4th injection tomorrow, I was put on to stop my kissing ovaries from killing my kidney. I've been told my surgery won't be until summer next year due to the covid waiting lists. So not sure about taking for more than 6 months.

Thanks everyone

Hallo! Yes, I’ve been on Zoladex for the last 7 years, with permission from my BSGE specialist. I also take Tibolone and have regular Dexa scans to monitor my bone density. If it’s helping with your symptoms, and not causing you side effects it should be ok for a little while longer until your surgery.
