I saw a private gyne sendo speacilist back in June, he was fantastic and well acredited he tole me he will put me on his NHS waiting list.... so called up his nhs place today and they have no trace of me 😢😢😢😢 trying to grt in touch nownwith his private secretary to fond out whats happened.... dont believe this as thought I was a few months into my wait and dont know what will happen now. The pain and frustration is unreal! Anyone else had this happen?

So sorry to hear this - I really hope you're able to get in touch with his private secretary to find out more.

I'm not sure if you've heard about our face-to-face support groups, but they can be incredibly useful if you'd like to discuss endometriosis and the issues you are facing with other sufferers. You can find out if there's a group in your area by visiting endometriosis-uk.org/find-a.... Otherwise, we do have an online support group.

I wouldn’t try to solve this yourself through the NHS route at the moment it’s very time consuming and frustrating and as you paid for the private appointment his secretary will resolve this for you, let them sort it out. I recently had a private appointment and referral and then had a nhs telephone appointment and nobody called when I chased it up (after four different numbers/on hold for half hour each time etc etc) they couldn’t find my paperwork. My advice, in the current climate, let the private secretary take the stress away from you and resolve it, it will happen much quicker. Just leave a message for the secretary to call you back or there will likely be an email address in the letter they should have sent you following your appointment.

Thanks the email bounced back saying it was wrong and telephone went to answerphone left a message so need to keep trying to speak to the private secratary. I feel slefish for saying it but I hope they can put me 4mths ahead on the list now as they have made the mistake and Im not waiting from begining again.Im just so upset that i would have to pay so much money to go private but it would mean we would stuggle if we did its so sad how bad the nhs is at the moment xxxxx

If the private doctor is based in a private hospital speak to the reception. They willknow the secretary. I’ve had to find ways around contacting various people over the years! I understand your frustration, try not to worry too much until you know for sure what’s happening. difficult I know. x
