Waiting times York gynaecologist?

Does anyone know waiting times for York gynaecologist referrals?

I’ve struggled with endometriosis for 20years. In the last 5 years I’ve had lots of pain and problems with ovarian cysts.

I also have Crohn’s disease and 13 years ago had part of bowel removed and a temporary stoma.

Because of my previous surgery the gynaecologist have always said they would not touch me surgery wise.

Ive just been back in hospital with what I thought was a Crohn’s flare up but I have cysts on both ovaries that are stuck together and I also have frozen pelvic.

I was discharged with pain relief and a referral to gynaecologist, but I don’t know how long I’ll wait. Thanks

I’m sorry you’re having such a tough time, Crohn’s is so awful but endo on top of that must be really challenging! I found out the waiting time for my gynaecology referral by phoning the hospital appointments line and just asking them, they were happy to tell me it was a 38 week wait 😭 I’m in Suffolk though, so hope it’s shorter where you are!
