hi all hope your enjoying the bank holiday as much as possible,

I feel lost i was diagnosed in 2016 by lap but since then i feel like thats it , i can put a name to what i have but nothing more. yes i am thankful for a my diagnosis but now i don’t feel like there are any future steps.

what have others achieved with a diagnostic? thanks

HiSpeak to your GP about a referral back to gynae. Do you know whether it was superficial or deep endo? Are you taking anything for it such as the pill?

Have a look at the Endo UK site as there is quite a bit of info of different stages and treatments. Some manage to keep endo under control with diet. If you can get away without further surgery you are less likely to develop other adhesions. In the same breath don't do what I did and ignore things.

My first lap last year I had some Endo treated with Helica, he believed in treating if the diagnosis was confirmed at the time. It was a very late diagnosis age wise and there were a lot more adhesions than he expected but couldn't get every where at the time and referred me to a colleague who was supposed to be an Endo expert. That's a whole different story :-)
