hi hun how's u doing today 🙂 hope your well? il give you a little background on my situation, I've had issues with my periods since 13 and diagnosed with endometriosis in 2005, I have been passed from piller to post for the last 24yrs with no positive outcome in sight 🙁
I can give you a few tools that may help you, heat is the best thing for me, baths beat hot water bottles 😂, would you believe that mentality has alot to do wiv how u cope, so keeping busy and having a good sense of humour about yourself (good or bad 😂) try not to bottle up emotions (I'm terrible for it 😂 but getting better) if u have someone who u can vent to, it will save you a lot of pain 😊 avoid anything that triggers a stress response as that will cause more pain and symptoms 🙁. as far as pain relief goes I get prescribed pregabalin, butrans patches and when I'm desperate I have dihydrocodeine (I will point out that I was on stupid doses of opiates) I've switched out opiates for cannabis (actually really effective) paracetamol for cbd oil and Ibuprofen for devil's claw all natural alternatives. they have been better help then all the drugs the NHS had me on (I would literally rattle when I walked 😂 🤣). I hope some of it helps, feel better soon, if you fancy a chat please pm me xxxx
