Endo near heart/lungs

So thoracic Endo near my lungs and heart has been found. It was left in place and my surgeon said there’s not much he can do as it’s too risky to treat. Just wondering if anyone else has had this?

Hello sorry to hear this. I don’t have thoracic endo but have had endo removed from the diaphragm a few times - the gynaecology surgeon should be able to work with a specialist to remove it from tricky/ risky places. Mine works with a hepatobiliary surgeon to remove it from the diaphragm. A thoracic surgeon working with a gynaecologist should be able to remove it I would have thought. Do you mind me asking what symptoms you are getting with it?

Thank you that’s helpful! I get some lower rib cage pain but that’s it.
