Reoccurring functional ovarian cysts

Hi. I have suffered from reoccurring functional cysts for a few years now (not endometriomas)…..I’m wondering, is this linked to Endo in any way? Has anyone else experienced this? TIA xx

Hey. I’ve also got this problem for the last few years. It can be very uncomfortable can’t it. I’m currently going through investigations, I have endo PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome) and they believe PCOS to be the problem. Sorry if this isn’t much help to you but I would have a chat with your GP to see if you can have some further investigations too. Keep a diary too, I’m sure you already do but it seems to help when you go prepared with how often and when it happened. All the best x

Thank you. I have IBS, they believe Endo and I suspect PCOS too (I have a few of the symptoms, including facial hair). I thought I was being a drama queen with so many conditions being mentioned but a lot of people on here seem to have a few. Hope you get sorted xx

Thank you. You are no drama queen at all, I know what you mean though about feeling that way. It’s not easy to manage it all at times. It’s doubly hard as a lot of these conditions seem to have similar symptoms. Hope you do too xx
