Waiting for post lap letter

Hi everyone

I had my lap middle of May (2 months) and still waiting for my post lap letter. Did it take a while for anyone else to receive theirs?

I received a document when I was there stating they did a diagnostic laparoscopy with the excision of Endometriosis which had been found however I thought I would have a more detailed letter explaining just where Endo was found?

My follow up telephone appointment is in 4 weeks time.

HelloNo so the detailed letter should have been given to you on the day. Unfortunately alot don't get this. However you can request your records from the hospital and it'll list everything including where it was found.

I had the same thing done and a letter with a brief idea of what they found but like you said I’ve got a phone consultation in 4 weeks to so they will discuss this with you further on the phone rather then a letter x

Hiya ladies, I hope you are doing well?! I had my laparoscopy in October 2020 and when I came around from the op I was told I have endo (I already have adenomyosis) a patch under ovary they removed the endo but I wasn't given a letter and told I would have a telephone consultation in 4 weeks which didn't happen. They scheduled another telephone for Jan 2021 which got cancelled and rescheduled to end of July so fingers crossed. I hope you don't have wait as long as I have x
