Hi, sorry I can’t answer your question but I would like to know other women’s experiences with MRI scans for endo and adhesions. I think my endo has returned on my bowel but not getting anywhere with my g.p and consultant, so I’m thinking of having a private MRI. I’m hesitant because I worry that the person looking at the scan might not be experienced in looking for endo or they might not be thorough. Then I’ll end up feeling like a neurotic time waster. You get like that when you’ve been dismissed for years! I’ve lost trust in health professionals (private and NHS as they’re all the same). Even though I’ve had endo, adenomyosis and adhesions treated previously and a hysterectomy (I have 1 ovary left now) they don’t seem to admit that this disease can’t be cured and women require ongoing care. The last consultant (private) basically said I can’t have a gynae problem anymore as things have been removed. Sorry for the rant! Anyone had any experiences of MRI scans?
