I've been taking birth control for almost two months now because my gyno recommended that I take it for pain. I've been experiencing this pain since September of 2015. Ever since I've been taking the birth control I haven't noticed any changes with the pain, what I have noticed is that my period has changed significantly. It's light, brown and it comes on and off. The first time I got my period was for a week and then after that week it was off and on and I'm currently on it again. I don't know if this is "break through" bleeding or what it could be... I am taking my pills everyday at the time I should be, there have been times where I am late but I take it as soon as I can. I only skipped one day and I took it the next day along with the pill I had to take that day. If anyone knows or has gone through this, I'd appreciate your answers. Thank you and have a good day!

Brown blood is just dead blood and is quite normal as is to have break through periods it all sounds normal so don't worry . But if the break through periods are all the time you can get a tablet from the doctor to stop this good luck xx
What brand of pill are you on
I'm on Glidess
I would try qlaira a pill that is especially for heavy bleeding it still has some undesirable side effects but minimal bleeding better than other pills I have tried ! Don't expect your GP to be aware I had to spell it !!!!! It is recommended but you have to ask as costs more x
