Bloating after lap

I had a laparoscopy and treatment of endo 2 weeks ago. Ever since then my belly boats and hurts everytime I eat. Is this typical? I'm so fed up with it. And I still feel sore internally although my stitches are healing well. Thanks. Any info helpful!

Hi, I take it you are having normal bowel movements? It may be a mixture of things but probably best to try and speak to your surgeon as they will know what areas they searched. Did they mention anything about your bowels after surgery?

As for the internal stitch pain feeling, I'm 3 weeks post op and my umbilicus internal stitches are still sore if I move a certain way. Although the scars are small on the outside, don't forget that they still have to cut down deep and move things around without any need to be gentle!
